Branding / Web

Skills to Grow NE is an online resource for businesses. Its key aim is to encourage businesses to access the expertise and support available from the region’s universities and colleges and help them grow their businesses through the application of higher level skills.
The project team appointed Jam Jar to consult on technical and design solutions. As consultants we developed the Skills to Grow NE brand identity, exploratory implementation of the web portal and a host of technical documents to support the tender process.
Our brief;
We are excited about working with the project team in 2011, overseeing the development of the final web portal and the future expansion of the portal in 2012.
The Innovation Programme is specifically designed to help North East businesses prosper by investing in innovative developments. Seeking to support SME’s in the North East we designed a typographical, colourful brand identity that was friendly and approachable, supportive, understanding and reliable.
Over the past 12 months we have built a strong relationship with the team at EDBS, delivering designs for the popular ‘Advice Mag’, ‘Celebration of Enterprise Awards’ and their apprenticeships initiative. To support ambitious plans for the future, Jam Jar were approached to lead the business’s rebrand.
With National Apprenticeship Week fast approaching, EDBS Apprenticeships wanted a new brand identity and web site to ‘grab’ the attention of local residents in the East Durham area.
